Psychic Photography #5

Some of the selected numbers have had a cosmic connection to the person who unwittingly chose their photograph. And some photo pairings have been connected as well. Today's photo are in complete contrast, and perhaps the people who chose them are very different as well.

First up is #0630, picked by Sean, called Bottle Walker. I intended to shoot him walking on the broken glass but the guy took forever building the crowd and nothing was happening so my friend and I gave up. I love this photograph, though. Not for the guy as much as I love all the expressions on the spectators.

This is #1004, chosen by Lizzie. It's an iPhone photo taken in Central Park, titled today as Tulip Bed.

Girls and Jay

I was very intrigued by this trio when I arrived with my NY friend and musician, Jay Stolar to help him shoot some footage for his next music video. I grabbed this shot while we walked by, doing my best to remain inconspicuous. There are no do-over in this kind of situation. I wanted to capture a moment of time that would represent my initial intrigue so I didn't want them posing. I wanted to tell a story with one frame. I think I caught it.

I'm calling it Girls Renting Rollerskates at Venice Beach.

I'm adding this bonus shot of Jay Stolar catching tat shop footage because it's his birthday today.
