Belushi On Plane Killers by Ron Wood

from 75.00

"Belushi On Plane Killers" 1978, color pencil, 12"x18" (print is 16"x20").

"John came round straight from the set of the film he's doing where he'd just fallen off the wing of a P-40 fighter plane. He was doing a skit on the wing but lost his footing and smashed his elbow and chin on the wing and then fell. He was really in a down mood." ~ Ron Wood

"It seems llke a sad drawing with a funny title and I would not normally like an unflattering drawing like this but it really looks like the way I felt. I sat there and he kept telling me to stay still but I wasn't about to move anyway, I was in a lot of pain. I think it's a great drawing, I was amazed at how good he is." ~ John Belushi
